I learned that things don't always turn out the way you want them to.
When I was 8 I asked my mom if I could go to the Natural Museum of Science and she said yes. The day came and we were going to go, but my mom said that we HAD to go to the grocery store. I threw a fit because the Museum of Science was my favorite place in the world. My mom got mad so like any mom would do she sent me to my room. I still kept crying and throwing a fit. then my mom came in and she yelled, "You don't always get things and when you do they don't always turn out the way you want them to."
